Effective from Monday 2 May 2022, Mainstay Advisers has new owners and will merge with Acumon Accounting & Business Advisors.
In 2022, Acumon Accounting and Business Advisors bought Mainstay Advisers, Wallsend, into the Acumon fold.
Acumon Accounting & Business Advisors have offices in both East Maitland and Morisset and in 2022 celebrate 25 years in business. Acumon’s directors, Scott Atkins and Christian Tapp, each have 30 years’ experience in the financial industry and lead a team of skilled professionals, passionate about service and results.
Tony Young, the former owner of Mainstay Advisers, made the decision to sell the business after many years of dedication to Mainstay.
The Mainstay team, Brendon, Jodi, Millie and Sam remain in their roles and stay as valued members of the team – meaning the familiar faces and consistent level of service Mainstay clients are accustomed to, continue to service their clients under the new leadership.
All the services Mainstay clients have enjoyed in the past, continue, and the incorporation with Acumon Accounting & Business Advisors affords additional services and greater opportunities.
While some administrative changes are required our commitment to our clients has not changed.
